The Southampton Neurodiversity Connections Hub is based in Bitterne. It is a base for multiple services for autism in the Southampton area.
The hub has been created as a place for neurodivergent people, their parents/carers and professionals. It is a place to receive valuable individualised advice from a variety of organisations working together to give a joined up approach. By working together, it allows each organisation to support individuals within a safe space. They can also signpost or refer to each other to make sure that people are accessing the right advice and information.
Autism Hampshire is co-ordinating and managing the centre. This allows local services to use the space to meet people that they are supporting.

Speaking Space delivers social communication groups for adults. Topics include self awareness and self esteem, body language, conversational skills, assertiveness skills, relationship skills, emotional regulation and problem solving social situations. We held an open day at the Neurodiversity Connections Hub on the 24th October. Individuals, families and professionals were all welcomed into the hub. This gave them a chance to discover the wide range of support and services available.
