Autism Hampshire celebrates staff achievements

Autism Hampshire colleagues came together last Friday for a fantastic staff celebration event at Gosport Rugby Club.

Around 50 people attended and enjoyed a delicious curry lunch followed by cheesecake for dessert.

Each table was decorated with favour bags as a small token of appreciation, and the afternoon was filled with laughter and amazement thanks to a magician, who wowed everyone with fiery wallet tricks, mind-bending card illusions and more.

The highlight of the day was recognising the outstanding efforts of staff across the organisation. A special thanks to Jeremy Brown who helped to give out the awards alongside our leadership team.

  • Most Supportive Colleague Award – Sophie Curd and Victoria Orsini, Specialist Autism Trainers
  • Newcomer of the Year Award – Sam Hely, Business Support Administrator for Serendipity Community Groups

  • Terrific Team Award – The Gardens
  • Magnificent Manager Award – Ben Latona, Service Manager
  • Superb Support Worker Award – Kirstie Burgess, Support Worker
  • Notable Newcomer Award – Elisha Afolabi, Support Worker

This celebration was a small way to recognise the big difference Autism Hampshire staff make in people’s lives.

Each and every member of the team goes above and beyond in their roles to make a lasting difference to autistic people and their families.
