We are delighted to announce that, from 1 September 2026, Love4Life has become part of Avenues Group.
Love4Life is a well-established Hampshire-based social and friendship service that supports adults with learning disabilities and autistic people to build friendships, grow in confidence and feel connected to their communities. Over many years, it has created opportunities for people to develop meaningful relationships, enjoy new experiences and be part of a supportive community.
At Avenues Group, we share that commitment. As a national charity supporting people with learning disabilities, autistic people and people with acquired brain injuries, our focus is on helping people live fulfilling lives, build independence and achieve the things that matter most to them. Across Hampshire, Autism Hampshire, part of Avenues Group, already provides a range of community-based services that support people to develop confidence, skills and connections.
We are excited to welcome the Love4Life team, members and volunteers into the Avenues family. Our immediate priority is to ensure a smooth and seamless transition, with the existing Love4Life team transferring to Avenues and activities, events, TeamUp bookings and support continuing as planned.
As we begin this exciting new chapter together, we want to understand what makes Love4Life so special and how we can build on its strengths for the future. Over the coming months, we will work closely with members, families, volunteers and colleagues to listen, learn and explore how Love4Life can continue to thrive in a way that is sustainable, person-centred and shaped by the people who use it.
While we cannot promise that every aspect of the service will always remain exactly the same, we can promise that any future decisions will be made thoughtfully and with the people who matter most at the centre of them. We are committed to listening, being open and transparent, and doing everything we reasonably can to preserve the things that make Love4Life special, while ensuring the service is realistic, resilient and sustainable in the long term.
We look forward to sharing this journey with members, families, volunteers and colleagues, and will provide further updates as the transition progresses.
