Developments at Autism Hampshire in 2024

2024 has been a year of growth and connection at Autism Hampshire, culminating in a merger of our two offices.

Autism Hampshire has officially moved into a single office space at 1646 Parkway, Solent Business Park, Whiteley. This move brings our team together under one roof to collaborate more closely and continue delivering the high-quality services and support people rely on.

Reflecting on 2024 and the integration of Autism Hampshire with Avenues Group, Jo Land, Group Chief Executive, said: “These changes are far from easy, but it has been so heartening to watch our two charities come together. We really will be stronger for it, and become better at what we do for the people who need us.

“As we move into the Christmas period and celebrations, I’m reminded of the new annual parties which took place this year. They were a wonderful chance to catch up with familiar faces, spend time together away from the workplace (and home offices), and make new connections.

“While not everyone could be there, the events were a reflection of everyone’s hard work. The great things we achieve are done as a community of people with shared values and motivation, and this is what makes Avenues so special. Of course, as we recognised the staff teams, at the centre of it all were the stories of the people we support, and the quality of their lives.

“Despite the challenges our sector faces, together we continue to achieve extraordinary things that we can all be so proud of. Thank you again for all you do. Wishing everyone a happy and healthy 2025.”
