Employee of the month: Katrina

Described as ‘cheerful’ with an ‘infectious’ can-do attitude, Katrina is Autism Hampshire’s first winner of Employee of the Month.

Autism Hampshire is now part of Avenues Group’s monthly award scheme which recognises and celebrates the exceptional support and individual successes of our colleagues and volunteers.

Katrina, Autism Hampshire’s Business Support Administrator for External Training and Information, Advice and Guidance, won the award in May after two incredible nominations.

According to one of the people who nominated her, “Since Katrina started in her role she has become invaluable. She has taken on any and all challenges thrown her way and regularly goes above and beyond in her commitment to the role.

“She has made many processes more efficient, saving the external training team a lot of time and energy. Katrina has a positive 'can do' attitude which is infectious, she is full of great ideas, and has made herself indispensable in the short time that she has been part of the training team.”

Another person wrote, “Katrina has only been with the departments for three months and has had a massive impact. Other staff are mentioning her in their supervisions about the difference she has made to their workload.

“She is very efficient and responsive to requests as well as being a happy, friendly person that is liked by everyone that she works with.”
