After 12 years of dedicated service, we bid a fond farewell to Jonathan Hardie, who has stepped down from his role as a trustee of Autism Hampshire.
Jonathan has been an advocate for our mission at Autism Hampshire and has guided the organisation through times of growth and transformation.
Reflecting on his time as trustee, Jonathan shared his appreciation for Autism Hampshire staff: “I’d particularly like to thank all the staff at Autism Hampshire for the way you have carried yourselves through recent times; with the same professional and caring values that you have showed over so many years.
“As a result of the recent merger, it is good to know that the people we serve and the staff who serve them are part of an organisation with stronger fundamentals and offering the opportunity for greater progression."
While Jonathan departs from his formal role, we are pleased to share that Jayne Turnbull will continue as an Avenues trustee and Jonathan will remain actively involved with Autism Hampshire, alongside Jayne and Graham Shields, as part of a group focusing on overseeing the Community Partnerships side of the organisation.
Jonathan added: “As a parent, trustee, Chair and CEO I want to express my thanks to all and to say what a privilege it has been to serve alongside you all. I wish you all personally and the organisation nothing but success in the future.”
Thank you, Jonathan, for your outstanding dedication and support. We wish you all the best in your next chapter.
