Lee Corless receives an award for outstanding achievement by an individual on the autism spectrum
We are very proud to announce that one of our Board Trustees, Lee Corless, was recently presented a prestigious award for Outstanding achievement by an individual on the autism spectrum at the recent National Autistic Society Autism Professionals Conference 2020.
Lee won the award for the work that he has done leading JP Morgan Autism at Work program in the UK and Europe region. Lee has been leading the recruitment of individuals on the spectrum into meaningful roles within JP Morgan building collaborations with not for profit organisation, schools colleges and Universities. He has also been working with other employers to share best practice and actively encourage them to start similar programs and or see the benefit in hiring people on the spectrum. Lee also spends time attending conferences and speaking on the subject of why companies should expand their talent search to include people on the spectrum.
JP Morgan won Outstanding Employer award. This was for the Autism at Work Program which is a global initiative to hire talented people on the spectrum into meaningful roles across our entire organisation by building pipeline talent through interactions with Schools, Colleges, Universities and not for profit organisations. The award recognised the company for the work the program has done in the UK, which is the area I lead in support of the global program.
