Autism Hampshire is excited to announce the appointment of a new Clinical Psychologist who will join our Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) Team to support complex caseloads. Our Psychologist will provide specialist input to compliment support planning for children and adults on the autism spectrum.
This marks an exciting expansion of our services with a specialist Psychology support service now available for individuals, carers, families and groups when appropriate.
Clinical guidance will be available to clients referred to the Information, Advice and Guidance Service and for adults living within Autism Hampshire support services.
The Psychologist will be starting in post over the next couple of weeks on a part time basis. They will not have a caseload of people that they support but will instead support the IAG Officers with complex referrals. They will also be reviewing the safeguarding and risk procedures within the team. They will not provide formal assessment to referrals but will support with onward referral to access support where the need is identified.
The IAG team will also welcome two new IAG Officers who will join the team next month.
Our dedicated team of advisors handle hundreds of calls through our advice line providing an individualised approach to clients looking for information, advice, and support. If you require support please contact them by email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 02380 766162.
