Volunteering Opportunities

Exciting opportunities to get involved with

Why Volunteer?

By volunteering for Autism Hampshire, you can help make a real difference, whilst being more involved within the community and having the opportunity to meet new people and potentially learn new skills. Volunteering is also great for enhancing your CV and we can even provide a reference to a future employer.

Please note we do not have opportunities to volunteer working directly with the people we support.

Corporate volunteering

Offering employees a few days of paid leave per year, or organising team volunteering days, can be a great way for employers to empower their staff to give something back. Some great team-bonding can also be achieved along the way. It can improve the image and longevity of your company, to be working for good causes and connecting to your local community.

Not necessarily. We value past experience and utilising expert skills, but we do also value support from people who are just willing and able to get stuck in.

It depends on the opportunity you are volunteering for. Hours are flexible to suit your lifestyle, although we would ask for a regular commitment and the suggested hours are stated in the more detailed role descriptions.

It depends on the opportunity you are volunteering for, but most work is likely to be done in the Fundraising Office in Whiteley, Fareham. Sometimes you may be able to work from home or from any number of locations across the local area.

We will reimburse all reasonable out of pocket expenses. All volunteers are asked to do is keep expenses to a minimum and to supply receipts. Our expense procedure will be explained as part of your induction.

Are you stuck for something to do in between your studies? Or looking for work experience?
