Contact

The domiciliary assessment and support service is the Autism Hampshire's response to the increasing understanding and recognition of the diverse needs people on the autism spectrum have. The innovative range of services we provide either at home or in the community offers specialist and enabling support opportunities that promote health and wellbeing, social inclusion and the development of independent life skills in social, domestic, work or educational settings. All of the support we provide is person centred and directed at enabling individuals to achieve positive outcomes.

Community support services: Support people to develop skills and independence either at home or within the community, through employment, education, leisure and social opportunities, recognising and supporting the opportunities for lifelong learning. Enable & encourage choice and individuality to help achieve positive outcomes by supporting them to develop their own skills and strategies to increase independence. Promote social inclusion and citizenship within the local community. Support and enable opportunities that help develop social skills and networks.

Supported living: Supported Living is a popular choice for individuals who want to live in their own home and receive a personalised support package that compliments their lifestyle and choices. Our support recognises the diverse needs people on the autism spectrum.

University support: At Portsmouth University we work in partnership with ASDAC (Additional Support & Disability Advice Centre) to ensure that students with Aspergers are motivated and enabled to complete their academic studies through the provision of Academic Mentoring. The service is unique and has operated for several years with year on year growth in the number of students being supported by the team.
