Autism Hampshire - Training & Development

Autism Hampshire's Training & Development Department provides a range of programmes and courses, both in-house and to external organisations/individuals, and prides itself on the high quality of the training it delivers.

External Training
Autism Hampshire’s Training and Development team has also been delivering bespoke autism related training courses for a number of years to external organisations including the Hampshire Police, Hampshire Probation, Wessex Youth Offending Teams and Two Saints to name but a few. In 2010 Autism Hampshire won a tender to deliver a programme of Autism and Asperger Syndrome Awareness training to Hampshire County Council Care staff and managers and this training is still being delivered. External training courses for parents and carers have been delivered over the last three years and have been very successful with many attendees returning for additional training. Training courses have included Autism Awareness (Basic), Autism Awareness (Intermediate) and Simple Approaches to Behaviours that Challenge.
