MyChoicePad is an app that gives little video clips, at the touch of a button, of how to sign Makaton, and is really useful for those people who don’t use Makaton every day and may have forgotten the word for something. It can be downloaded to Smartphones.

MyChoicePad acts as an enabler for choice, independence and improved educational attainment. It utilises Makaton symbols, signs and signing videos in addition to your own photos and audio. You create your own ChoicePad through the use of learning pathway games and communication grids. It is a very powerful tool to develop and practice Makaton skills whilst awaiting or indeed after an initial Makaton training or for a setting that needs to brush up on these skills, on site and as and when needed. MyChoicePads are used by early years, school age to young adults, adults with learning disabilities and speech and language therapists and Makaton tutors.
