Youth club for young adults, 16-25, with learning difficulties or special educational needs
Basingstoke GAP Club is a youth club for young adults, 16-25, with learning difficulties or special educational needs. Depending on the member’s age, they have a weekly and fortnightly youth club session. The sessions are held on Wednesdays, 7-9pm, at Junction 6 Youth Club, Everest Community Academy. The youth club follows the Gateway Award Project (similar to the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme). They have fun going out and about for activities such as bowling, crazy golf and eating out. The group participates in the Basingstoke Festival and enjoys sports and craft activities. If you want to try new things, challenge yourself and meet new people, this could be the club for you!
