Mixed Ability Rugby - Chobham Rugby Club, Surrey

Mixed ability rugby is an exciting new development starting at Chobham Rugby Club (in Surrey but close to Farnborough and Basingstoke). An adult mixed ability team is being created where players with autism, learning difficulties and/or physical disabilities play alongside the able bodied. Although games are full contact, players can choose the amount of contact they actually do, and this can be discussed on an individual basis. The first few sessions will not involve tackling – this will be built up gradually and all sessions will hopefully be enjoyable!

The club trains during the Rugby season (September to April) on Saturday mornings from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm and run informal touch rugby sessions on Thursday evenings during the Summer from 7:30 pm- 8:30 pm (May to August).
