Southampton Wood Recycling

Southampton Wood Recyling collect waste wood from a variety of companies including construction sites, logistics and boat builders in the Southampton area. They then sort the wood to sell as affordable timber to the local community or to make products to sell. By moving the wood up the waste hierarchy they reduce the amount that goes to landfill.

Volunteers are key to their work so in return they offer training, practical skills and a great working environment. PPE and reasonable travel expenses are provided.
