Maple Ridge Primary School, Basingstoke

Maple Ridge School is a Primary Special School for children with Moderate Learning Difficulties. Many children also have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. All children have an Education Health & Care Plan, and the school works closely with numerous professionals to ensure that they provide the appropriate provision for each individual child.

At Maple Ridge, pupils are placed in one of 10 classes according to their age, each class is named after a tree. The average class size is 10 pupils, and there are generally 4 adults in each class, including the class teacher. The classes are split into 3 'Teams' and they work in their teams for a multitude of topics, school performances and school trips.
