Springwell School, Southampton

All children who join Springwell will have either a Statement of Special Educational Needs or an Education, Health and Care Plan. Springwell is a school for primary aged children with complex learning difficulties. Whilst this is the central area of need, many children also have associated other needs or conditions, and with varying needs of complexity such as:

• Speech and language disorder, impairment or delay
• Physical disabilities
• Autistic Spectrum Disorder
• Hearing impairment
• Visual impairment
• Behavioural difficulties

All admissions are agreed and directed by Southampton City Council. On receiving a request for admission from the local education authority, the school considers the information and details very carefully before a place is agreed.
