I am a qualified teacher, specialist teacher and educator with over 20 years experience of working with young people and adults from many different backgrounds and with a huge spectrum of strengths and challenges. I specialise in working with young adults with additional needs especially communication difficulties and autism. I understand how overwhelming life can feel. I understand what helps. I know that with the right support anything is possible. I have witnessed amazing successes and encourage you to trust me to enable you to discover what you really want to achieve and help you to get there.

For many of the individuals I work with this involves developing the skills needed to operate effectively in society: at university, in work, in the community, with others. I teach skills to develop social awareness, reciprocal conversation, relationships building, social safety, network building, independence and the ability to ask for help. Each step is important in developing the capacity to feel good and empowered to fulfil your potential. Each step creates confidence.

I will be in contact with you between sessions, encouraging you to practise the skills you have learnt and to take small but definite steps forward towards your goals, celebrating successes on the way.

I will support you to understand how wonderful you are and how happy life can be.
