Join TLC Space and ACE Occupational Therapy teams for a free launch event to hear about our workshops designed to support co-regulation as a neurodivergent parent, accessible local holiday groups and how we can support young adults in employment.
TLC Space provides Occupational Therapy for children and young adults (aged 0 to 25) with neurodevelopmental needs. The service focuses on helping individuals build the skills they need to be independent and successful in their daily lives.
How the Service Helps Families
Understanding the Child's Needs: Specialists carry out assessments to see how a child processes sensory information, moves their body, and manages daily tasks.
Personalised Therapy Plans: Based on the assessment, the team creates a treatment plan tailored to the child's specific goals. These blocks of therapy usually last between 6 and 12 weeks.
Developing Life Skills: Therapy sessions focus on practical skills, such as improving coordination for sports or writing, managing sensory needs, and learning self-care.
Support Beyond the Clinic: Support can be provided at home or in school to help children thrive in the places they spend the most time.
Learning for Parents: Workshops offer a space for parents and caregivers to learn practical strategies and connect with others in the neurodiverse community.
