Autism Hampshire - Autism Alert Programme

The aim of the programme is to support people on the autism spectrum should they find themselves in any type of contact with the police or emergency services. The programme consists of an Alert Card, an Alert Car Sticker, and a Communication Passport. The Police and Emergency Services would be able to support the individual if the Card is shown, or the Sticker is on show in an appropriate manner and contact the named person listed on the Card to assist in supporting the individual in what would be a difficult time.

Autism Hampshire supports people on the autism spectrum across Hampshire, Portsmouth, Southampton and the Isle of Wight. The organisation offers support and advice through their Information, Advice and Guidance Department who will be happy to assist with any queries and supply leaflets, posters, application forms and support individuals through the application process.
